Daily Expedition.
Marrakech – Toubkal Refuge
A short transfer from Marrakech to the village of Imlil (1800m) in the High Atlas, where we will meet our team of mule drivers and cook. After meeting our Berber team, we will start our hike to the Toubkal Refuge, passing through the village of Aremed and the small village of Chamharouch. 5 to 6 hours of walking.
Toubkal Refuge – Ascent of Mount Toubkal (4167m)
Early departure to avoid the risk of bad weather. 3.5 hours of ascent to the summit of Toubkal, which does not present any technical difficulty. Once we reach the summit of Toubkal, we will be “on the roof of North Africa” and will be able to contemplate distant plains and enjoy a breathtaking view of the summits of the neighboring massifs which also exceed an altitude of 4000m. The descent takes 2 hours. We will have lunch at the refuge. 2.5 hours to descend to the refuge where we will spend the second night.
Toubkal Refuge – Imlil – Return to Marrakech
After breakfast, we will descend leisurely by the same path, passing through Sidi Chamharouch. A good lunch awaits us in Imlil under the walnut trees prepared by our cook before making a short transfer to Marrakech via Asni and Tahnaout. 1.5 hours of driving and 5 hours of walking.

Essential Advice.
To ensure your journey is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, here are some key insights from our local experts.
Cultural Etiquette
Morocco is welcoming but conservative. Dress modestly (shoulders/knees covered) when visiting villages or rural areas to show respect.
Best Time to Go
Spring (Mar-May) and Autumn (Sep-Nov) offer the best weather. Summers can be hot in the south, while winters see snow in the Atlas.
Currency & Tips
Cash is king in remote areas. Carry Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). Tipping (5-10%) is customary and appreciated for good service.
