Daily Expedition.
Marrakech – Id Aissa Village
Depart from Marrakech to the High Atlas, passing through the small town of Tahnaout and then Asni. Enjoy superb views of the mountain range and the summit of Toubkal. Upon arrival in Imi Oughlad, meet your Berber mule driver. Begin your hike through the village of Imi Oughlad, followed by a beautiful climb to the Tacht Pass at 2020 m for panoramic views of the Azaden Valley. After lunch, enjoy an easy descent to the village of Ait Aissa at 1800 m. Stay overnight in a gite with a local family. (5 hours of walking and 1.5 hours of transfer).
Ait Aissa – Tkent Village
Start with a descent to the Azaden River, followed by a beautiful climb to the Teouti Pass at 2440 m altitude, ascending in the shade of walnut and juniper trees. Descend to Assaka for a lunch break under a walnut tree. Enjoy a 1.5-hour hike with small descents and ascents to the village of Tizgui de Tkent. Stay overnight in a gite with a local family. (5.5 hours of walking).
Tkent Village – Tagdalt Pass – Tizi Oussem Village
Depart from Tkent with its beautiful stone and mudbrick houses. Meet Berber villagers working the land. Enjoy a gradual ascent to the Tagdalt Pass (2700 m) for beautiful views of the valley and peaks over 3000 m. Enjoy a long descent through a juniper forest. Have lunch in the shade by the river before arriving at the village of Tizi Oussem. Stay overnight in a gite with a local family. (6 hours of walking).
Tizi Oussem Village – Tamsoult Waterfalls – Marrakech
After breakfast, ascend to the pretty village of Tamsoult. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Azaden Valley with its contrasting colors. Ascend to the Tamsoult Waterfalls and then to the Mzik Pass. Take in panoramic views of the beautiful village of Imlil. Enjoy a delicious lunch under the juniper trees before descending to the valley. Transfer to Marrakech. (5 hours of walking and 1.5 hours of driving).
